had a long conversation last night with jimmy about how the “inspirational” messages inside Dove chocolate wrappers patronize women. pretty funny, but true. each one is passive aggressive and seems to assume that you are 1) depressed 2) an emotional eater 3) would actually take advice from chocolate wrappers “sent in” by “real” women all over the country (each quip has a name and a city, state). ever read them? thoughts? we had a pretty interesting (albeit funny) conversation about this and female/male stereotypes.
